Lightning Strike Kills 76 People in India, Including Victims Who Were Taking Selfies
Officials posted and called the media afterwards to inform the public that some of the people who were struck by the lightning were taking selfies. According to the state disaster department of India, out of the 76 people who died, 23 people died in the mostly desert state of Rajasthan.
