The latest weather forecast showed that heavy rain and snowy outlook can significantly affect the weather in the US. Travelers should check the forecasts to avoid potential travel headaches this Christmas holiday.

Although the winter is here, homeowners should still updated with the weather in the US. Checking for plumbing and heating systems is also recommended to stay safe from the freezing outlook in the US.

In Los Angeles, shower activity can be likely in the valleys of Ventura County, bringing heavy downpours and gusty winds. In Salt Lake City, a storm system will bring a chance of precipitation and flooding concerns.

In San Diego, thunderstorms will unfold in San Diego County and Northern Orange County. Meanwhile, the NWS Weather Prediction Center warned of a significant storm system in the Rockies, High Plains and Gulf Coast.

On Sunday, Christmas Eve will expect a very wet outlook in the Upper Midwest and Central Gulf Coast. In addition, the Pacific Northwest can anticipate mountain snow.

In Southern California and Southern Arizona, heavy rain and thunderstorms will be likely on a Friday night. On Saturday, fair weather conditions are likely in Denver, Billings, El Paso, Dallas, Houston and Memphis.

Meanwhile, a good travel outlook will be likely in Boston, New York, Washington, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Miami, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

On the weekend, rounds of rain are likely in Minneapolis, Kansas City, Memphis, Dallas and Houston. A colder outlook will be likely in Billings and Denver.

On the other hand, New Mexico to Dakotas can expect a wintry weather outlook, causing travel concerns in the following interstates: 25, 70, 90, and 94.

On the Christmas holiday, poor weather outlook can begin in Denver, Dallas and Houston. Chilly Outlook can unload in Billings and Denver. The main concerns are travel hazards due to heavy snow and wintry mix.

On Sunday, a warmer outlook can spread over the following areas:

  • Columbus
  • Pittsburgh
  • Washington
  • Charleston
  • Detroit
