The latest weather forecast showed that above-average warmth could emerge in the South-Central US this week, bringing the much-awaited relief from challenging stormy conditions.

The National Weather Service (NWS) reported that a Pacific Storm could emerge in portions of California. The atmospheric river event will help with the heavy rain, strong winds, and mountain snow in the Pacific Northwest.

Meanwhile, the NWS Weather Prediction Center monitors the development of a low-pressure system in the Pacific that could impact portions of California. Flash flood threats are also possible, particularly in Southern California and Central Valley.

The temperatures will feel like Spring in parts of the Southern US, including in Louisiana, Oklahoma City, and Texas. The warmer temperatures will become ideal for people with outdoor plans in the region, or wanting relief from the winter conditions.
