Snow to Unload in New York City, North Dakota This Week; Travel Delays Expected

The coming second week of March would unload snow and rain in New York City (NYC) and North Dakota this week, that could cause slower commutes and travel delays.

The early beginning of March became problematic in parts of the United States due to winter storms and severe weather conditions. Here are what weather reports showed:

 The National Weather Prediction Center reported that winter storms are forecast in the Upper Midwest and Northeast, bringing heavy snow and challenging winds.

USA Today reported that portions of California suffered from heavy snow, especially in San Bernadino County.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported the severe weather conditions in parts of the South, especially in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana.

This week, New Yorkers could expect possible light snow. Motorists and commuters should bring an umbrella or raincoat protection due to potential rain.

On the other hand, the National Weather Service North Platte reported that portions of Northern Nebraska could anticipate stormy conditions due to winter weather.
