According to the BBC News, the weather report showed that the snow unloaded in portions of the UK, including in northern England and Scotland.

The cold weather alert was announced on Wednesday.

The news channel added that it is expected that snow could emerge in portions of East and South England and London starting Sunday.

Those traveling to the said places should prepare for the snow and cold weather.

The news report also explained that the Met Office issued yellow weather warnings, with snow and ice possibly emerging in central and northern portions of Scotland, which could continue until 12:00 (Sunday).

The forecast added that snow and ice warnings could also unfold in East of England, South East England and London starting Sunday until Monday.
