$1M in Pot Discovered on Beach Near Air Force Base

A spokesperson said the pot may have been "about six feet tall," according to a report on News Hill. The $1 million in pot stash was found Thursday near a boat that had washed ashore near the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The boat was searched, but no weapons or suspects were found. It has been determined that there is no threat to the community or base.

The boat is described as being a 20-foot aluminum vessel, according to the Santa Maria Times, who adds: "The overturned boat's engine had been removed, but authorities weren't sure whether it was taken off on purpose or came off when the boat crashed ashore.

The stash of pot was later taken away by Homeland Security authorities.

Authorities are working to remove the rest of the boat from the beach, and the investigation is ongoing.
