Nature World News (NWN) recently reported that severe thunderstorms and isolated tornadoes are possible in the Eastern U.S. and Midwest.

August recorded a challenging weather outlook in portions of the U.S., especially in the Southwestern parts.

New York City. The latest weather forecast reported lightning risk and thunderstorms are possible in the Southwestern U.S. In the Eastern U.S., the forecast said that at least one million people had no electricity due to the weather.  

Weather forecasts are monitoring the possible impact of lightning and wildfires in portions of the Southwestern U.S. this week, possibly increasing fire risk.

Recently, CNN reported that portions of California and Nevada experienced deadly fire and fire whirls. This week, AccuWeather's reported that stormy conditions with thunderstorms could likely lead to fire risk in the region.

The forecast noted that the lightning in the region could ignite a fire.

Based on the report, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said that at least ten wildfires emerged in California on August 7, Monday.

On the weekend, the forecast highlighted that stormy conditions could unload in Rena, Elko, Salt Lake City, Grand Junction and Cedar City.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of possible isolated tornadoes in portions of the country.

The report added that about 29 million people are under the Tornado Watch, including in parts of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Furthermore, NWS explained the weather outlook in portions of the Central Plains and the East. The forecast noted that severe thunderstorms could be likely in the Southeast and Central Plains.

Dangerous weather outlook in the Easter U.S

Parts of the Eastern United States are at risk of severe weather, causing widespread travel disruption. Based on the report of PowerOutage.us, over 1 million customers had no power.

The weather conditions in the East unleashed strong winds that caused property damage in the affected areas.

People with travel plans also suffered from disruptions and flight cancellations due to the bad weather. Everyone with scheduled flights or outdoor plans should check the weather before leaving their homes.

According to AccuWeather's report, the devastating winds impacted portions of Maryland, Georgia, Alabama and Philadelphia.

Challenging heat in Southern US

Furthermore, the NWS Weather Prediction Center reported expansive heat waves affecting parts of the Southern U.S., especially in Texas, the Gulf Coast and Florida.

The advisory warned of challenging heat and humidity, especially during the weekend.

Recently, parts of the country suffered from troublesome heat conditions. According to a Reuters report, July was the hottest month on record.
