The latest US weather forecast showed that heavy rain and flooding risks are predicted to unload in the Northeast. Meanwhile, a dangerous tornado struck North Carolina.

In the previous weather forecasts, Nature World News (NWN) reported that travel concerns are likely in the Northeast due to the flooding threat in the region.

The challenging weather conditions in the Northeast have been the main concern, while some parts of the United States experienced scorching heat.

Weather conditions in the Northeast

According to AccuWeather's latest forecast, flooding rainfall is expected to unload in the region, bringing more flooding problems.

Storm-weary residents in the Northeast would also likely experience flash flooding risks due to the severe rain conditions.

It is best that people with travel plans should consider the weather outlook before they leave due to floodwaters and travel delays.

In the latest forecast, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported localized urban flooding could become likely, as severe thunderstorm watch is present in parts of West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and Ohio.

Meanwhile, the NWS Weather Prediction Center reported that persistent rainfall is forecast in parts of East and Middle Tennessee.

The latest advisory warned of excessive rainfall and rounds of thunderstorms.

Based on AccuWeather's report, the wettest weather conditions in July occurred in parts of New York, Massachusetts, Albany and Worcester.

Furthermore, the weather report explained that the risk of severe weather could affect portions of New Jersey, Eastern New York, Eastern Pennsylvania and Northwestern New England.

The latest forecast noted flood risks and torrential downpours from Thursday to Friday could unfold in Sault Ste. Marie, Quebec, Montreal, Portland, Buffalo, Detroit, Portland, New York, Washington, Pittsburgh, Columbus and Charleston.

However, there is a chance that the weather conditions could improve this coming weekend.

Tornado in North Carolina

On the other hand, a strong tornado hit Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

The report noted that several people were brought to the nearest hospital due to the tornado outbreak.

In addition, the report said that travel on Interstate 95 was also affected, and that the tornado caused downed trees.

Troublesome heat in the United States

Furthermore, the National Weather Service (NWS) advisory warned of possible heat-related health concerns as challenging heat hit Southwestern and Southeast US parts.

The advisory warned that people should not let anyone unattended inside a hot car.

Furthermore, NWS New Orleans reminded people to avoid exposure to excessive, as it is considered one of the leading causes of weather-related deaths in the country.

The report explained that people should seek a cooler environment and air conditioning to ease the troublesome weather.
