The latest weather report showed that a severe storm is forecast to unfold in the Central United States and Mid-Atlantic, bringing flooding downpours and damaging wind gusts.

Americans with travel plans should consider the weather before they leave their homes, as flooding downpours could lead to slower commutes and travel disruptions.

The Nature World News (NWN) recently reported that intense heat emerged in the Southeast after causing challenging heat in portions of Texas.

The report and the NWS Weather Prediction Center reported that portions of the South and Lower Mississippi Valley could likely experience the dangerous heat.

As the summer season begins, forecasts noted the troublesome and uncomfortable heat in the United States due to soaring temperatures, especially the heat dome in Texas.

Furthermore, the latest AccuWeather forecast showed severe thunderstorms are expected in the Central United States and Mid-Atlantic.

AccuWeather noted the slow-moving storm system would help unleash rainy and damaging winds in the Midwest and portions of the Northeast.

Based on the weather pattern until early next week, showers and thunderstorms are forecast in Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington and Memphis.

Meanwhile, a hotter outlook is forecast in Houston, Charlotte, Jackson, Los Angeles, El Paso and Seattle.

On the other hand, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported that severe thunderstorms are forecast in Central, Southern Appalachians, Ohio and Tennessee Valley.

The NWS advisory explained that severe winds would unfold in parts of Eastern Missouri and Western Indiana, which could also bring flash flooding and heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile, AccuWeather's outlook showed severe thunderstorms are likely in St. Louis, Louisville, Nashville and Charlotte.

On the weekend, the forecast warned that the severe outlook could bring flooding downpours, hail and damaging wind gusts.

The forecast noted that areas in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield, Memphis, Evansville, Cincinnati, Nashville, Memphis and Huntsville could experience severe outlooks.

It is best that homeowners in the affected areas should keep alert for severe thunderstorms and inclement weather conditions this week, as it could bring dangerous situations.

The severe weather outlook will persist on Sunday in Evansville, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Washington, Richmond and Nashville.

What to expect next week

In the Northeast and Midwest, reports showed that poor air quality continued to grip the region due to the raging Canadian wildfires.

Based on the AccuWeather outlook, flooding downpours are expected in the early week, with chances of hail and damaging wind gusts.

The severe outlook is forecast in Raleigh, Richmond, Wilmington, Virginia Beach, Washington, Philadelphia, New York and Waterbury.

Motorists and homeowners planning for the 4th of July should check the weather outlook before planning.

It is best to bring an umbrella as rounds of rain could become likely this week and until early next week.
