The latest weather forecast reported that tropical development could likely unfold in Southern Mexico and Central America during the third week of June.

The Atlantic Hurricane Season 2023 began on June 1, meaning tropical developments and hurricanes could potentially emerge.

In the United States, CNN reported that many parts of the Northeast suffered from an unhealthy quality due to the raging wildfires in Canada.

This week's beneficial rain could improve the declining air quality and dry condition concerns.

Chance of tropical development in the coming weeks

In the latest forecast, AccuWeather reported that a possible tropical development could unfold due to the warm waters.

The forecast noted a potential development in June's third week due to the weather disturbances from Africa.

Although the chances of tropical activity are low, weather agencies were monitoring the potential development in Southern Mexico and Central America.

For this week, the forecast added that no tropical development could form this week.

In 2023, the NOAA- National Hurricane Center reported the following Atlantic Storm Names: Arlene, Bret, Cindy, Don, Emily, Franklin, Gert, Harold, Idalia, Jose, Katia, Lee, Margo, Nigel, Ophelia, Philippe, Rina, Sean, Tammy, Vince and Whitney.

Furthermore, the weather forecast added that a possible tropical disturbance could develop over the waters in the Western Caribbean in late June.

Meanwhile, the forecast reported that the warm conditions helped boost the tropical wave for this month, especially in Central America, Gulf, Eastern Pacific, Atlantic and Caribbean waters.

Weather in other parts of the U.S

On the other hand, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported that severe storms and heavy rain could unload in the Gulf Coast, High Plains and Mid-Atlantic.

The forecast said that large hail and storms could also be possible. Meanwhile, Southwest could face the threat of fire.

Furthermore, the severe storms could likely reach parts of the Northeast coast.

In the Pacific Northwest, the NWS forecast showed that a cold front could occur, reaching a windy outlook in Columbia Deschutes Plateau and Lower Columbia Basin.

In the Southern United States, AccuWeather's outlook explained severe thunderstorms could become a concern on Tuesday, causing possible hail and local flash flooding.

The risk of severe thunderstorms could unfold in Amarillo, Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Shreveport, Atlanta and Jacksonville.
