Parts of Florida are likely to see severe weather, including hail, floods, and 7-inch heavy rain.

7-Inch Heavy Rains, Flood Watch

In some areas of Florida, up to 7 inches of rain may fall, according to the National Weather Service.

With 1 to 3 inches of rain expected and potentially greater quantities of 4 to 7 inches, parts of Big Bend in Florida are under a flood watch.

According to the Service in Melbourne, many showers and lightning storms are predicted to strike Central Florida later today and might reach the East Coast by tonight. Up to 4 inches of rain are anticipated.
