According to the latest reports from AccuWeather and The Guardian, the Hopewell Township Police Department immediately responded and found that a likely space rock had fallen into the house.

Based on the said police department, the possible space rock managed to penetrate the roof of the house.

According to The Guardian's report, Suzy Kop explained that the possible meteorite managed to fall into her father's bedroom in the afternoon at around 1:00 p.m., loca time 

Reports noted that experts are expected to look into the said space rock to identify if it is really from space.

The Guardian reported that the people did not touch the object until it was clear.

Authorities said that experts would determine the object.

The reports also said that the object could be likely from the Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower, which is popular for its speed.

NASA Solar System's website shows that the meteor shower emerged in early May. The report said the showers were active from April 15 to May 27.

NASA added that the Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower could have about 10 to 30 meteor showers per hour, which is noticeable in the Southern and Northern Hemispheres.

Meanwhile, the American Museum of Natural History explained that meteorites help scientists and experts understand the solar system because they are considered old in existence.
