According to the latest forecast, residents in New York City could expect snowy and colder weather this week as the winter season is in the air.

As many Americans anticipate December for Christmas preparations, the snow and colder weather would give the feeling of Christmas.

In the latest forecast on December 1, 2022, AccuWeather reported that the much-awaited Meteorological winter started this Thursday. The forecast noted that colder and arctic air would bring chilly weather.

The forecast explained that the meteorological winter began on Thursday (December 1, 2022). In contrast, the astronomical winter is expected on Dember 21, 2022 (EST). The forecast emphasized that winter is in the air regardless of the date.

Motorists should drive slowly and safely as they navigate the road. The rep slick roads and poor visibility could be noticeable as snowy weather persists in New York. As emphasized, it is advisable to set your travel as the sky becomes clear.

Furthermore, a heating system would be helpful during winter and when the weather becomes colder. The previous report explained that the heating system cost could soar as winter comes near. As a result, checking your home's heating system is important if there are needed maintenance or repairs.

Snow in New York City

According to AccuWeather's forecast, the weather agency predicted New York City could expect 18 to 23 inches of snow this coming winter.

Furthermore, the report said stormy weather with snow could unload on December's second week.

The forecast explained that this season's winter would be warmer than the last year's winter. The report added the winter this season could be the warmest.
