Forecasts revealed that parts of the Northeastern United States would feel a temperature cooldown this coming weekend after the warm to nearly-record-high temperature.

The cooldown to a colder air temperature will alleviate the heat, especially in parts of the country with a recorded spike in temperature.

The latest weather update from AccuWeather explained that the temperature would have a roller coaster ride in the Northern Eastern.

It said that the temperature in the Northern eastern would seem like November.

Residents would exhaust their air conditioning if the weather feels warm or with record-breaking heat to feel at ease.

On the other hand, people without air conditioning would feel the brunt of the hot weather. As a result, the cold breeze and air would give comfort amidst the roller coaster weather due to climate change.

According to the weather website, AccuWeather Meteorologist Alyssa Smithmyer explained that the cold front would reach the Northeast's portions, resulting in showers and temperatures that feel like late fall.

The weekend cooldown is expected, AccuWeather reported in the following areas:

  • Part of the Great Lakes and the Northeast would feel a brisk wind with several degrees lower.
  • Eastern Massachusetts and Ohio Valley would have cold weather. Ohio Valley may experience the risk of frost.
  • Rain showers could happen in areas nearby Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

Despite the cold air breeze, AccuWeather noted that Tuesday could feel moderate temperatures in Boston, New York, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Pennsylvania

Tropical Storm Julia

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Julia is forecasted not to impact the United States. However, forecasts have been monitoring the storm's development if it reaches hurricane level.

In a recent advisory, National Hurricane Center (NHC) said that tropical storm Julia would strengthen today.

Parts of Central America starting this weekend are advised for potential life-threatening flash flooding and mudslides, with tropical warnings and watches are issued in Nicaragua's Pacific Coasts, El Salvador, and Honduras.

Isthmus Tehuantepec, Mexico, could experience flash flooding early next week.

Furthermore, the Hurricane Center said that Hurricane Warning has been in effect in areas where tropical storm Julia would move.

The Hurricane Warning is on the Nicaragua coast, San Andres, and the islands of Providencia.

Roller coaster temperature

While reports said that temperatures in parts of the Northeastern U.S. would cool down, temperatures are expected to be moderate next week.

It is important to be prepared for the changing temperature or warm to extreme heat.

  • Anticipate the weather conditions so you can set the appropriate clothes for warm to hot temperatures.
  • For hot temperatures, make sure to drink enough water. Heat-related health risks can threaten your health, including heat fatigue and stroke.
  • Avoid sugary, alcoholic, or coffee during the hot temperature.
  • Check your house to see if the air conditioning and other equipment work.
