Prancer the 'demonic Chihuahua' finally gets adopted and now living its best life in Connecticut with his new fur mommy after he went viral on social media.

"Time flies when you're having fun. Time also flies when the Chihuahua who held your family hostage for 6 months finally gets adopted", said Tyfanee Fortuna on her latest Facebook post when Prancer finally found a new home after several months of trying.

The "13lb rage machine" that was supposed to be a dog was said to embody a traumatized Victorian child that haunts their home as described by Fortuna on her post. Prancer was previously owned by an elderly woman who missed to socialize him. When he came into Fortuna's home on its cashmere sweater and obese weight, she knew right there and then that he would be a problem in their household. And she was right, Prancer turned out to be a hater of men, children, and other pet animals.

Prancer's Adoption Ad Garnering Positive Responses from Fur Lovers

While Fortuna was stressing out about how to get rid of the little demon dog, somewhere in New Haven, Connecticut, Ariel Davis, a 36-year-old woman found the post hilarious and brutally honest, which also garnered similar responses from netizens.

Davis wrote an application email to The Second Chance Adoption League, Prancer's sponsor, with not much hope that she'll get approved. Davis narrated how she was once a mom of a dog with similar personality of Prancer, seven year ago. She told TODAY how she had to give it up when she had marijuana addiction and had to admit herself to a rehabilitation center for two years, the same place where she now currently works.

When Davis came across the ad for Prancer's adoption, she just knows she is ready and stable enough to own a dog again. Aside from the fact that she checked all the boxes on Fortuna's post about the new owner being single or lesbian, not living with a man, no children, and not owning other pet animals, Davis was convinced they are a perfect match.

One week into Prancer's Adoption

It looks like Davis has gotten fond of Prancer right after meeting him for the first time. She described how they just connected during their first walk and how Prancer was a 'perfect gentleman' in the car ride when she took him home that day.

One week into adoption, Prancer has been doing good so far on his new-found home. Davis admitted it was an adjustment period for both of them, but despite Prancer's neurotic qualities, he was a sweet and loving dog inside. They have gone into walks and met some people and other animals on the way, but Prancer seems to just ignore them.

Davis is now looking forward to having Prancer as a companion. She is planning to get him out more and socialize even though she herself is a 'homebody', making it a win-win situation for them both.

Prancer the "demonic Chihuahua: turned out to be a celebrity and furry hero that led to other dogs getting adopted as well, and has raised funds through the nonprofit's newest fundraiser featuring Prancer's mug on various shirts and sweatshirts to support the Second Chance Adoption League organization.
