FDA Approves $250,000 Orphan Drug To Treat Cystinosis
The Food and Drug Administration announced Tuesday its approval of the new medication Procysbi. Not only is the drug easier on the stomach than its predecessor, but produces less of an odor and can be taken every 12 hours rather than every six.
