The latest weather forecast showed that severe thunderstorms and isolated tornadoes can threaten portions of the Upper Midwest this late week, bringing hail and isolated tornadoes.

The NWS Weather Prediction Center reported that above-average temperatures unfold this week's end in the eastern and central US. Record warmth could also extend to the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes.

Meanwhile, a chance of thunderstorms and showers could emerge in the Upper Midwest and Southern US. In the Western US, unsettled weather conditions could cause heavy rains.

In Chicago, the forecast reported that a Special Marine Warning could emerge in Lake Michigan from Winthrop Harbor to Wilmette Harbor.

  • Austin
  • San Antonio

In the pre-valentine, the northeastern US can expect potential snowfall or snowstorms. Homeowners can also anticipate colder temperatures and accumulating snow, especially in the Midwest and Northeast.

This coming weekend, a warmer outlook could spread over Little Rock, Atlanta, Boston, New York, Ottawa, Toronto, Detroit, Indianapolis and Washington.
