Temperatures can increase from between 15 and 20 degrees Fahrenheit this week. Americans should avoid prolonged exposure to hot weather, especially for outdoor workers and older adults.

In the advisory, the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of record-high temperatures in the Southern US. The temperatures could reach from 70s and 80s F.
