Researchers reported that the rare albino male panda was interacting with other pandas near the Wolong National Nature Reserve, according to a data monitoring report. The giant animal is in a good health condition.

Albino panda is considered very rare in appearance. At first, people recognize it as a bear. However, a closer look showed it was a panda.

As a result, researchers have been monitoring the male albino panda to check on its health and interaction with other animals in the Wolong National Nature Reserve. The area has been considered an essential home to many pandas.

According to recent reports, the albino or white-looking panda roamed around the Wolong National Nature Reserve. Experts from the PKU's School of Life Sciences have observed the male panda's movements inside the nature reserve.

Pandas have usual black-and-white markings around their body. With the albino panda discovery, it will help researchers to understand more of its behavior.

The nature reserve provided the panda with healthy habitat and conservation efforts to protect their species from possible threats, researcher Li Sheng from Peking University's School of Life Sciences said.

For about four years of observing the panda, the researchers documented the panda's healthy growth and positive interactions. Like other species, the albino panda loves to go around for activities in bamboo. In February, the said panda was discovered with his mother panda in the nature reserve.

According to Tan Yingchun, the male albino panda is frequently seen in spring. To further understand the panda's biology, the researchers gathered hair and feces samples to analyze. Yingchun is a senior engineer in the nature reserve.

With infrared cameras, the researchers can monitor the activities and potential sightings of pandas in the wild.
