The latest weather forecasts in the United Kingdom (UK) showed that ice and snow conditions are expected next week.

The forecasts said the troublesome weather outlook could likely result in travel delays and cold-related health concerns.

In the United States, Associated Press (AP) and the National Weather Service (NWS) reported the challenging winter storms that could impact the Northeast and California.

According to Met Office and The Guardian, Britons could expect snow and ice conditions next week, with widespread overnight frosts.

Met Office reported that the north and east UK could experience cloudy and shower conditions this weekend.

On Sunday, the forecast said that rain could unload in the north, while there was possible snow in the far north.

Furthermore, the weather advisory said there is a chance of rain from Monday to Tuesday. At night, Britons could notice colder conditions.

On Wednesday, the forecast said snow would unfold in the South.

Until Friday, Met Office said that widespread frost and ice would emerge.

According to The Guardian, a yellow weather warning is present in parts of Northeast England and Scotland next week.

The weather forecasts added that Northern Scotland could anticipate more snow.

Meanwhile, the report said the UK Health Security Agency issued cold weather alerts (levels 2 and 3).

Britons planning to travel outside should also bring an umbrella or raincoat protection due to rounds of rain.
