Recently, the NASA Orion spacecraft was deployed for a mission to the moon. It is expected that the NASA spacecraft could travel 270,000 miles and would reach the farthest distance from Earth.

NASA has been on a mission to understand the moon further using samples and closed images using the spacecraft.

According to the astronomy news on November 28, 2022, AccuWeather reported that the NASA Orion capsule will return to Earth on December 5, 2022, as it accomplished the first half the NASA's spacecraft mission.

Astronomy and space enthusiasts should stay updated with the space news about the NASA Orion mission. They can visit the NASA official website for updates.

The report added that NASA's spacecraft is expected to stay in orbit for almost a week to test the spacecraft.

According to the AccuWeather astronomy report, Mike Sarafin explained that they completed the outbound leg to the moon. Sarafin is the mission manager for Artemis.

Sarafin added that the spacecraft would circle about the moon in the retrograde orbit after finally set for a return leg.

NASA also reported that the mission's first leg was accomplished successfully. The report added that there was a minor and temporarily lost of contact with the spacecraft. However, the entire performance of the NASA Orion spacecraft was according to their plan.

Orion spacecraft

According to NASA's official website, the NASA Orion would safely bring crews to space exploration, Moon and Mars. The spacecraft was built to carry on space explorations. The recent launch of the Orion spacecraft would provide insights into engineers to improve the spacecraft from performance evaluations in space.

The report noted that the Artemis 1 space exploration is crucial to bring humans to the moon and a better understanding of the moon and other planets.

On the other hand, the moon images from spacecraft exploration would offer new information about the moon craters.

Rock samples on Mars

In previous news reports, scientists found the latest rock samples from Mars that could decipher the past life on Mars. Researchers will look into the existence of ancient microbes in the samples collected.

NASA's Perseverance Rover could help provide insights into the planet using rock samples, offering clues for potential past life on Mars

On the other hand, an amazing photo was also previously captured on Mars. According to the previous report, NASA's Rover captured a rare image of a cat loaf rock on Mars, relaxing in a chilling cat position.

The image became NASA's photo of the week and was shared with social media platforms.

According to NASA, Rovers help explores Mars. The planet is one of the most explored, with Rovers sent to study the planet. The report added that NASA's Perseverance Rover is considered an advanced technology sent to Mars on February 18, 2021.
