Weather Advisories in Jamaica and Grand Cayman Island in Effect due to Tropical Storm forming in the Caribbean

According to the National Hurricane Center, the brewing system in the central Caribbean has a high chance of becoming a tropical cyclone.

Weather forecasts monitored the Caribbean for the potential development of a tropical depression or tropical storm.

Last week, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) revealed three systems in the tropical Atlantic basin. Low-pressure areas emerged north of Puerto Rico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean Sea.

In a recent advisory, the National Hurricane Center said that the potential Tropical Storm Fifteen (PTC 15) in the central Caribbean Sea was located moving west-northwestward in the Caribbean.

On the other hand, AccuWeather's News said that the brewing system recorded 40 mph sustained winds as of Sunday (8:00 p.m EDT). The report also added that the system:

• Ranked less than the Caribbean's AccuWeather RealImpact^TM Scale for Hurricanes
• One on Central America's AccuWeather RealImpact^TM Scale for Hurricanes

Meanwhile, the National Hurricane said additional tropical storm watches or warnings could emerge early this week. The Hurricane Center has been monitoring the storm's impact on Central America, particularly near Belize.

Residents in the said areas should stay updated with the weather and the storm's potential impact.

In the United States, the Monday-to-Wednesday weather pattern showed that portions of Portland are expected for cold and storm weather.

Meanwhile, mild weather could unfold in Denver, Houston, Chicago, New York, and Atlanta, according to AccuWeather's forecast.
