The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone and this includes animals. During the past few months, there has been a tremendous amount of attention paid to how the pandemic can impact people of all backgrounds including those who might have pre-existing conditions as well as those who are in their later years. At the same time, animals are being impacted as well. It is important for everyone to think about animal fundraising and how this can be used to help pets everywhere.

First, it is important to note that animals and pets might be infected by the virus just like people. While there hasn't been a ton of research regarding how the virus might impact pets exactly, it is noted that the first transmission from a person to an animal is believed to have come from an open air market where the virus jumped from an animal to a person. This is the most important example of how this virus might impact animals in addition to people. With this in mind, it is important for pet owners to treat their pets as they would a person. They need to be kept safe from harm and this means keeping them isolated from people who might have the infection.

In addition, it is important to note that pets are being impacted in other ways as well. There are lots of people who are feeling the financial stress of the virus and they might be wondering how to make ends meet. This means that some pet owners are actually surrendering their pets to shelters or leaving them alone in an isolated area somewhere, where they are forced to fend for themselves. The financial strain that has been placed on people is being felt even more by animals. This is a sad situation that should be avoided as much as possible.

Finally, there are some pet owners who are having trouble getting the food and medicines they need to help their pets. While this does have something to do with the financial stress they might be feeling, this also has to do with the plants that make these essential items being shut down during the pandemic for a short period of time. This is a sad situation that has placed animals in harm's way.

The reality is that animals are looking for help right now. They have been impacted by the pandemic just like everyone else and their story is not being told. Therefore, it is important for people to step up and help those in need. Just like there are people who need help, animals need assistance as well. It is important to think about ways that people can fundraise for animals and help those that have been harmed by the situation surrounding this pandemic. They need our help now more than ever.
