Dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures have always been a point of fascination for scientists and laypersons alike. It is amazing to think that such monstrous beasts used to roam the Earth for around 180 million years. The incredible beings whose name means "terrible lizard" are ubiquitous in mainstream media, as well as the scientific world. Now that technology is available to bring them to life in amusement parks and museums, these types of attractions could soon be a worldwide trend.

In 2018, Pushpa Gujral Science City in India added a robotic dinosaur museum, which stretched over 72 acres of land and allowed visitors to get up close and personal with some of the most iconic prehistoric beasts. The science extravaganza boasts seven moving models made from steel and silica gel. These have been added to the preexisting still models, of which there are 46 exhibits. The new display is designed to spark an even greater obsession with dinosaurs in young people, and help them learn more about these marvelous creatures.

Many paleontologists today say that it was Steven Spielberg's classic, Jurassic Park, that helped influence their career paths and persuaded them to become scientists. The field is flourishing, with a new prehistoric species discovered every ten days on average. It is considered to be one of the most desirable fields to enter, as the science is also hugely prevalent in popular culture. Spielberg's 1993 movie sparked wide-scale fascination with dinosaurs, as well as a huge franchise.

As well as there being numerous other Jurassic titles added to the saga over the years, the franchise also boasts video games across all consoles; including the LEGO Jurassic World game and the latest Jurassic World Evolution. As well as this, Jurassic World influences can also be found in the online gaming industry. For example, there are slot games including Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, which are available to play at most online casinos listed at Bonus Finder Canada, which also offers a whole host of popular film and TV-inspired slots across many of the sites featured.

Mobile Jurassic Park games have also been hits, with the most recent offering, Jurassic World Alive, representing a prehistoric take on the popular VR hit, Pokémon Go. The film series was recently rebooted with the 2015 movie, Jurassic World, which is the sixth-highest grossing film of all time. The blockbuster then went on to spark a sequel in 2018 with a third picture also planned for 2021.

The fact that these games and movies based on the prehistoric beasts have attracted so many viewers and accumulated an impressive revenue highlights how there continues to be worldwide interest in these ancient animals. As technology progresses and allows us to do more, there are likely to be dinosaur-themed parks cropping up all over the world. This will bring modern humankind closer than ever to the great animals which ruled the world for over 180 million years.

The big question that everyone wants the answer to, though, is whether it will ever be possible to recreate dinosaurs using Professor Hammond's method from Jurassic Park. Up to this point, scientists have been able to uncover blood from dinosaurs in ancient insects. But they haven't been able to get hold of any DNA, which is highly vulnerable and breaks down rapidly. Unfortunately, most experts agree that cloning a dinosaur is impossible. So, it seems that dinosaur lovers will have to stick to looking at the robots.
