There is another celestial show that stargazers will surely love to watch out before this month ends until mid-August. The Perseid Meteor Shower is expected to light the heavens with a celestial show most probably between July 13 to August 26 that will luster best depending on the location.

The most amazing thing about this year's Perseid Meteor Shower is the number of meteors that are expected to paint the night sky. That is because according to the American Meteor Society, this year's meteor shower will appear double compared to that of last years. Experts say that would be an estimated of 150 to 200 meteors per hour.

Because of the possibility that some hindrances could negatively affect the watchers' viewing conditions, Spacedex offered some tips to maximize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. One of these tips is for the watcher to get away from the city lights, and instead of going to a dark place with less pollution. Without the pollution, the sky would be clearer thus creating a good view of the show.

Most of the meteors will be more visible after midnight that is why it is best to look up to the sky during that time. Another thing is to bring optical devices like telescopes for the show. Though the naked eyes can already perceive the meteor rain's beauty, having these at hand can surely help in creating a more unforgettable experience.

Experts are also excited to experience this amazing and unique phenomenon, as posted by Daily Detroit. In fact, Stephanie Wirtz, the recreation programmer for the DNR said in a statement, "The Perseid Meteor Showers are one of the best opportunities to see shooting stars with the naked eye."

Aside from the Perseid, Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower will also beautify the August's night sky. Probably by August 11 or 12, it is expected to overlap with Perseid creating a much more exciting celestial show to all skywatchers.
