In Kansas City, the forecast warned of normal temps reaching from mid-30s to lower 40s. In New England, motorists should check for snow squalls from the Midwest to the Northeast.

In this week's weather, the main dangers are extremely cold, heavy rains, flooding, snow and thundersnow. Motorists should be extra careful in checking roads due to the weather.

On Monday morning, about 200,000 had no power in the Northeast. In the early week, residents can anticipate the heaviest rainfall in the following areas:
