Chesapeake Islanders Will Likely See Serious Sea Rise
Chesapeake Bay islanders, many of whom have lived on the islands for multiple generations and retain traces of accents from their ancestors' native Cornwall, England, may be the first residents of the continental U.S. to experience sea rise, says a new report by oceanographers and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
