Red Eyes: A Telltale Sign of COVID-19?
A veteran registered nurse said that it was the red eyes among patients that became the single most important sign that she and other staff at the Life Care Center in Kirkland, Washington mark as a telltale sign of COVID-19. Although the said symptoms were not included in the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) list of symptoms, the American Academy of Ophthalmology issued a warning to eye doctors to take the necessary precaution when handling patients with such symptoms.
