Similar to humans, animals can also experience hair loss. It can be in their heads or part of their bodies. According to reports, hair loss can be due to old age, stress, climate change, health problems, or disease. It is also called alopecia.

Peruvian Hairless Dogs

Some animals can be hairless in their breed. First on the list is the Peruvian hairless dogs. The dog is considered intelligent and a good hunter. They are protective of their owner and family.

Hairless Bear in Germany

In Leipzig, Germany, a bear known as Dolores suffered from severe rashes, body hair loss and inflammations. Vets had been finding ways to understand hair loss in bears, significantly since it affected other women bears in the zoo.

Oscar the Moluccan Cockatoo

Next on the list is the Oscar the Moluccan Cockatoo in Florida. According to reports, the birds suffered from Beacon Feathers. It is a condition that affects birds, irritating the bird's body. The bird was known for saying,"'who's a pretty boy?' and 'I love you."

Hairless Squirrel

The small and agile squirrels can suffer from hair loss. It happens due to genetic mutation or mite illness.

Bald Penguin

Penguins can also experience feather or hair loss, which was documented among African penguins (Spheniscus demersus) and Magellanic penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus). Reports showed it could be a disorder causing slower growth among penguins.

Spynx or Egyptian Cat
