The latest reports said that the Canadian wildfire smoke continued to impact parts of the US states, causing air quality alerts due to declining air quality.

Americans with travel plans should consider the weather conditions and poor air quality before they leave. People at risk could become more vulnerable to unhealthy air quality.

Nature World News (NWN) recently reported that the Southwestern and Eastern US could expect challenging heat, bringing daily highs and fire risks.

The forecast warned that the troublesome heat could cause health-related heat stress, such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

The NWS Handford reported that the scorching heat could be likely in Central California.

Poor air quality in the US

Recently, parts of the Northeast and Midwest recorded unhealthy air quality due to raging wildfires in Canada.

The weather conditions improved after flooding downpours unloaded in the Northeast, helping to ease the poor air quality.

Furthermore, AccuWeather reported that Canadian smoke is expected to unleash poor air quality in US states, causing possible pollution concerns.

The forecast noted that air quality alerts are present in parts of the US as hazy skies conditions unfolded.

AccuWeather's forecast added that air quality alerts were issued in the following states: New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Vermont.

Residents in the affected areas and reported poor air quality should consider checking the weather conditions.

The smokey conditions could also likely emerge in Nebraska, North Carolina, West Virginia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Massachusetts and Tennessee.

Meanwhile, NWS New York NY reported that air quality concerns are also present in Lower Hudson Valley and Long Island.

The advisory added that a cold front is also expected in the Great Lakes, causing possible severe thunderstorms and flash flooding.

Weather in the Northeast

Recently, portions of the Northeast recorded heavy rain conditions that caused severe flooding in Vermont, Pennsylvania and New York City (NYC).

The NWS also reported that severe thunderstorms are forecast in Kansas and Oklahoma.

Meanwhile, AccuWeather reported flash flooding in parts of North Carolina as heavy rain battered parts of the Northeast.

On Tuesday, Americans can expect possible flooding and hail concerns in Albany, Scranton, New York, Washington and Virginia Beach.

Motorists with travel plans should check roads for possible flood. It is best to stay away from flood waters. Motorists can also expect slower commutes and travel disruptions.

From Thursday until the weekend, the forecast said rounds of thunderstorms could become likely in Charleston, Columbus, Detroit, Montreal, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Burlington, Portland, Boston, New York and Washington.

Homeowners should stay alert for the rapid rise of water, especially if they live near the coasts. It is best to evacuate when flooding becomes worst immediately.
