Extreme cold weather and freezing conditions are forecast to unload in portions of Canada this weekend, especially in Toronto, Ontario and Quebec.

Furthermore, the freezing conditions would become noticeable on Friday. According to The Weather Network's latest forecast (February 3, 2023), the weather agency explained that widespread cold would grip the country as waves of arctic air are expected to unfold.

The weather forecast showed that the extreme temperatures would unleash from Friday to Saturday. The weather will improve next week with chances of light to moderate rain conditions.

The Weather Network reported that the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) advised Canadians of possible cold-related health risks, especially older adults, young children and workers during winter.

In addition to the polar vortex, the forecast said that the blast of arctic air would play a significant role in the temperature drop this weekend.

Residents would also experience potential wind chills as gusty winds are forecast to unfold. The gusty winds would help unload colder temperatures in the affected areas.

There is also a chance of snow squalls to unload. The weather outlook showed snow squalls are expected to emerge in Grand Bend, Goderich and Kincardine.

The forecast also added that colder temperatures would be noticeable in London, Kitchener, Orangeville and Barrie.

Furthermore, the City News (February 3, 2023) reported that the Toronto area would experience bone-chilling temperatures this weekend.
