  • On the other hand, the National Weather Service (NWS) Chicago reported that cloudy skies would unfold on Tuesday night.

While it is a good sign for snow lovers, the report noted that the snow would affect travel conditions in some parts of Chicago, resulting in possible delays or slower commutes.

In addition, the NWS Chicago said that the highest snowfall totals would unleash in Northeast Indiana and Central Illinois.

Although the weather forecasted that light snow is expected, the NWS advised motorists to check on road conditions, especially during the snow. Car homeowners should bring a car emergency kit if they become stranded due to the snow.

The daily commutes would be challenging for untreated roads, and motorists should consider driving safely.
