A massive winter storm is now happening in the Northeastern part of America. Huge piles of snow are already seen outside the famous buildings of New York, along with the freezing rain and dangerous driving conditions for motorists.

After several days of preparation for the most significant winter storm of the years, it is now hitting the Northeastern part of the country.
Isolated power outages were already implemented, while hundreds of flights were also cancelled.
According to NY1 local channel, all the NYC five boroughs are included in the winter storm warning. This means, whole part of the city will be covered in snow in the soonest time.
As explained on their weather timeline, the Wednesday evening had develop the snow. Later that day, this will be the time wherein heavier snow and gusty winds were expected, and on Thursday morning, the breezy weather will now taper off.
Wind gusts may top 40 to 50 mph at times, causing blowing snow and poor visibility. It is advised for all motorists to not ride their cars or prevent going outside to stop any accidents on the road.
However, New York Times already reported that two men died at Interstate 80 in Clinton County, Pa. due to the heavy snow.
There were also collisions around Manhattan to the Bronx, causing almost 10 people to get hospitalized.
"Everything that was predicted is right on track," David Stark, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in New York, said Wednesday evening. Central Park had gotten 2.6 inches of snow by then, the Weather Service said.
Where the storm hits first

Unfortunately, this is not the end of the snow storm. Fox News reported that experts predict that the storm was expected to bring up to a foot of snow from central Pennsylvania, into southern New York and New England between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
NWS also warned that the snow could fall at the rate of 2 inches per hour or more.
