Ancient Alien Antenna Spotted on Moon's Surface?

Could NASA be hiding the extraterrestrial facts from us? A UFO hunter thought so.

Mark Sawalha, a UFO hunter based in Finland, found a "strange spike" possibly 3.64 miles tall, in a lunar photo taken by NASA. Now all other UFO hunters are abuzz about it.

"I think this finding could be the antenna of an underground alien base, because there is a plateau under the spike," Sawalha told The Sun in an interview. "I guess that there are also some kind of mining activities going on the Moon."

He also said NASA have known it for long but they chose to keep it away from the public which is why there was never another moon mission conducted, following the Apollo mission which collected rock samples from the lunar.

On Sawalha's website, he writes:

Finding Alien anomalies (mechanical structures, buildings, etc) on our solar system is quite new matter for me. I got interested about this topic after I found these strange structures on Nasa images myself. I am sure that these findings are real. We have still a lot to learn from our neighbour planets and whats happening there.

The UFO Sightings Daily explained that the spike has been spotted in January and was captured by the 1967 Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), but experts have dismissed that the spire is connected to extraterrestrials.

Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual also dismissed the idea. In an interview with Daily Mail, he said it's just an optical illusion:

"In this case the vertical looking hill is more likely to be caused by shadows from a hill that has a steep bank or cliff face on the right-hand-side," Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, told Daily Mail Online.

"There are plenty of alternative explanations that don't involve the intervention of aliens, but enthusiasts are always eager to leap on anything unusual and build them into their extraterrestrial fantasies."

Meanwhile, this is not the first time someone has accused NASA of hiding some extraterrestrial evidence. Many video and analysis were uploaded on Youtube showing evidence to support the accusations.

Inquistr wrote about a strange video uploaded by Secure Team 10, a team of UFO investigators from the U.S. The video shows an "alien" emerging from a crater, then quickly retreating back the crater again.
