Western Canada Communities Recovering From Wildfires Take Another Blow Due to Record Rainfall
Communities in western Canada that were forced to abandon their homes due to wildfires and excessive heat last summer are under evacuation orders again as a result of widespread flooding caused by torrential rainfall. Floods and mudslides also prompted evacuations and school closures in Washington state.
