From Tuesday to Thursday, the weather outlook showed that showers and thunderstorms can hit in the following areas:

  • Miami
  • Nassau
  • Havanna
  • Tampa
  • New Orleans
  • Southeastern US

In New York City, the advisory explained rainy conditions in the city this week. Light rainfall is expected on Tuesday due to the impacts of Ophelia. Beachgoers should also watch out for possible coastal hazards this week.

Meanwhile, challenging rip currents and coastal flooding are likely in the following areas:

  • Atlantic City
  • Virginia Beach
  • Wilmington
  • Charleston

Recently, NWN reported severe weather conditions in the Midwest, Oklahoma and Texas. The report noted the Upper-level low in the Upper Midwest that could bring a rainy outlook in the regions on Monday.
