Typhoon Doksuri to Bring Heavy Rain to Philippines Before Moving to Taiwan, China, Hongkong

The latest weather forecast said Typhoon Doksuri is forecast to unload heavy rain in parts of the Philippines before aiming for parts of Taiwan, China and Hongkong.

Weather agencies have been monitoring the developments of Typhoon Doksuri that managed to strengthen, and the possibility of Doksuri becoming a super typhoon.

According to AccuWeather and CNN forecasts, Typhoon Doksuri will hit parts of China, Hongkong and Taiwan as it churns over the Western Pacific Ocean.

Manila. The latest weather report showed that Typhoon Doksuri is expected to bring heavy rain to the Philippines after moving to Taiwan, China and Hongkong.

The latest forecasts noted the Super Typhoon is anticipated to impact parts of the Northern Philippines.

Typhoon Doksuri is known as Egay in the Philippines.

According to a news report from the Philippines News Agency, Philippine authorities and local government units heightened disaster preparedness for Egay.

TV reports showed Egay caused flooding and challenging winds in parts of Luzon and Mindanao.
Classes were also suspended due to Egay's possible heavy rain and flooding concerns.

Furthermore, the Associated Press (AP) reported that the Typhoon brought torrential rains in Batanes and Cagayan provinces.

AP report showed that the Typhoon recorded 185 kilometers (115 miles) per hour of sustained winds and up to 230 kph (143 mph) gusts.

In Cagayan, the report said that authorities prepared evacuation plans for 11 coastal towns that can be affected by the Typhoon.

After causing heavy rains in the Philippines, AccuWeather reported that the Typhoon would aim for parts of China, especially in Fujian or Eastern Guangdong.

There is a possibility that the typhoon could impact parts of Japan.

In Southern Taiwan, the weather reports added that the Typhoon could unleash four to eight inches of rainfall on Friday.

In the Go-Kit, it should be three-day supplies for homeowners.
The Home Kit should have at least two-week supplies for homeowners.
