The self-proclaimed social entrepreneur who uses creativity and disruptive innovation to challenge the status quo and change culture, Miki Agrawal, has yet another business venture under her belt. Tushy, rated the No. 1 bidet attachment by New York magazine, is a modern and sustainable bidet company. And with eight years perfecting the product, over 100,000 people have given it five-star reviews, bringing the female CEO's businesses to a combined value of well over $200 million

The bidet, which will set you back $99, has a suite of features that are a boon for the bum, including an angeled spray. The initial installation was simple enough and took around the recommended 10-minute mark. My Tushy Spa 3.0 has been enjoyable while sitting on the throne, leading to more frequent visits. Getting accustomed to using the nozzle controlling the water pressure was a bit of a challenge. I didn't realize the stream would be as intense as it was.

Nonetheless, I'm more than pleased with my purchase. I now have one of those fancy bidets you only see in movies right in my bathroom. I have zero regrets about my purchase and only one caution: If you have kids, you may want to consider using the bidet in a less frequently visited lavatory.

Miki Agrawal: The Power Behind the Throne

Attesting to the many successes of Miki Agrawal, a recent article describes her as "more than the "queen of periods, pee, and poop," but a "dynamic woman, mother, inventor, and creative, serial social entrepreneur." She's innovated panties that are period and pee-proof, and now, with Tushy, she's conquered the battle of the bottom. "We're trying to change the conversation and the way people think about cleaning their butts," Agrawal said.

Tushy has been called an "upgrade to the American bathroom experience with a modern twist." Miki Agrawal hopes Tushy will help to upgrade human health and hygiene, while protecting the environment from wasteful toilet paper consumption that removes 15 million trees yearly. Hellotushy.com claims that bidet users use up to 80% less toilet paper than wipers. The site calculates that a family of four pooping four times daily will save over $700 yearly with a bidet. "Pooping feels that much better when you're saving $," the website declares.

It wasn't an overnight success: Agrawal and her team say they've spent a decade of hard work to perfect the bidet; the company aims to be the No.1 solution for "nether region health," by changing the American bathroom experience while helping fight the global sanitation crisis affecting 40% of the world.

In addition to running multiple empires, Miki Agrawal is a prolific public speaker, and often tapped to speak at various events, conferences, and learning sessions. Revered for her raw honesty and taboo-breaking discussions, Agrawal is a proponent of industry disruption.

The Tushy: 'Mildly Hilarious'

Tushy reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. "The Tushy 3.0 bidet attachment is environmentally friendly, practical, and mildly hilarious all at the same time," declared no less an institution than Reader's Digest, which suggested it as the perfect gift for the dads we know and love.

No matter how picky your pop may be, Tushy has a device for his keister, presenting three different types of bidets: Classic, Spa, and Ace. The bestseller Tushy Classic 3.0 offers the "freshest way to clean your bum." The bidet cleans your backside with the same fresh water used in your sink and shower. The Tushy Spa 3.0 comes with adjustable knobs to give a warm or cool, fresh clean. Both come in several colors to choose from. The Tushy Ace Electric Bidet Seat is considered the "renaissance" of premium bidets. This version is the only electric bidet. It comes in two shapes to cover both elongated and round bowls. The Ace also comes with its own designer remote control that allows you to feel pampered on the potty. It includes a heated seat and a signature automatic self-cleaning nozzle that keeps your Tushy poo-free.

Tushy bidets are designed to be quickly installed, usually in 10 minutes or less. "With easy installation and adjustable nozzle, the simple bidet will change how you go to the bathroom forever," raved CNN in ranking it the best bidet attachment.

CNN stated: "It might seem like an odd present, but trust us, anyone you give a Tushy bidet will be forever grateful." Another article reminds us of the Great Toilet Paper Shortage of 2020 that jump-started interest in bidets. "If you're a bidet beginner and don't want to spend too much money, the Tushy Classic mounts under your existing toilet seat and gives you a comfortable stream with just enough adjustability."

The Tushy topped a recent BuzzFeed article that offered gift ideas for couples in long-term relationships who have run out of ideas for presents. The writer, who personally owns the bidet, expresses her satisfaction with the purchase: "I cannot stress how life-changing getting a bidet is."

In another piece about gift-giving, Tushy ranked highly favorable in the best Mother's Day gifts that are both thoughtful and unique. "Our prediction: This easy-to-install bidet will be the MVP gift of the season," the article stated.

When Tushy was founded in 2015, social entrepreneur and best selling author Miki Agrawal and her team's goal was to raise awareness of the tremendous amounts being wasted in bathrooms using toilet paper: it takes 37 gallons of water to make one toilet paper roll, while it only takes "one pint of water to properly wash with a Tushy versus paper annually."

If saving money and the environment isn't enough, Tushy advises that its use will "alleviate UTIs, hemorrhoids, skid marks, dingleberries, and more."

"Sweet waters of Jordan - I'm a newborn baby dolphin," was the reaction of a now-avid user of the Tushy. That was the reaction after her initial use of the bidet and she said she'd forgotten how good it felt to leave the restroom feeling 'head-to-toe fresh.' Comically raving, she continued: "I'd forgotten the baptismal bliss of getting your butt mouth-washed clean of sin and ready to face whatever ventures are on its horizon."

Tushy Must-Have Extras

While most people feel intrigued by the idea of a bidet, there's little to no mention of the accessories that accompany it. For example, the Tushy Ottoman, or "recliner for your colon," is a premium toilet stool that allows you to kick up your feet and position yourself to deliver in the most elegant way. The angle prevents straining, pushing, or constipation, situating you in the perfect position and posture to have a less strenuous but full release of your bowels. It's "comfortable ergonomics designed to elevate your feet and unkink your colon."

A recent review described the ottoman: "Out of all the Tushy add-ons, this is the one that gets its own Pixar movie. It made me feel like a big, spoiled baby in the best way, and it actually does make it easier to do a No. 2. Oddly, it reminded me of the first time I got glasses. 'Ohhhhh,' I thought, 'so that's what I've been missing.'"

The Tushy's accessories also include a brush (a gentle whisk that uses biodegradable scrubbing pads to clean your toilet), a travel version (portable bidet to clean your bum on the go), bum (sustainable) towels, stand and squares (flushable toilet tissues), and more.

With each purchase of a bidet, you'll not only save money and the environment, but also help combat the global sanitation crisis, along with supporting worldwide re-forestry projects.

That's just booty-ful.
