Recent weather reports explained that the warmer winter season in the United States is due to climate change and the effect of La Nina.

In New York City, it reached more than 300 days before NYC had measurable snowfall.

Climate change has been the main culprit for the warming of temperatures. Recently, The Guardian reported that Europe experienced its warmest January in 2023.

The changing and rising global heating can be attributed to the warming of temperatures, with less snow in some regions.

In New York City, AccuWeather reported that the warming event resulted in a trace amount of snow in the state.

As many residents looked forward to snowy and measurable snowfall, the report showed that more than 300 days happened before NYC reached a measurable snowfall in February 2023.

Businesses selling snow shovel were also affected by less snow in the state.

According to NBC New York, a recent report explained above-average temperatures in New York City.

The report said that La Niña and Climate change played a significant role in the warmer winter season in the City.

The United Nations on Climate Action added that climate change could influence weather patterns. Excessive fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions can unleash warmer and extreme temperatures. Climate Change brought warming temperatures in NYC, resulting in an unusual rebound to warmer temperatures.

In New York City, the weather pattern helps unleash unusual warmth and winds on East Coast and Southern United States.

Furthermore, the report added that La Niña contributed to warming events in parts of the United States. 

As the winter season ends, weather forecasts said that snow and winter storms can still emerge.

New York City's weather forecasts

According to NWS New York City, the advisory showed that NYC commuters and motorists could expect normal temperatures this week.

However, New Yorkers should bring an umbrella or raincoat protection if rounds of rain occur. The weather conditions would cooperate with people celebrating the Valentine's  Day this week.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Prediction Center's latest report showed that winter watches are present in the western United States due to possible heavy snow.

Motorists planning to travel in the Western United States should consider the current weather conditions. The blowing snow can lead to challenging road conditions for motorists.

Motorists and commuters can anticipate slower commutes and travel delays.

Recently, NWS reported that a winter storm is expected in parts of Four Corners and Central High Plains on Tuesday.

The weather conditions would reach parts of the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes from Thursday to Friday.

On the other hand, the weather forecast showed that the eastern United States could experience the early taste of springlike temperatures this week.
