The latest weather forecast warned that snow and blizzard conditions could unfold in portions of Central and Eastern United States before the Christmas season.

As many Americans began to rush for the Christmas Holiday and New Year, many malls and supermarkets are expected to prepare. The Christmas Holiday is one of the most awaited events this year.

However, the threat of severe weather conditions could raise significant concerns. Recent reports showed that portions of Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana suffered from violent tornadoes.

The previous forecast explained that a heavy lake effect could unload this week in New York and Midwest. Residents in the affected areas should prepare for the lake-effect snow and potentially severe weather conditions.

The lake-effect snow could become a major concern, resulting in slowed commutes and significant travel disruptions. On the other hand, the weather event could unfold heavy snow, and residents who would help with snow removal should be extra careful. It is best to avoid prolonged cold weather, which could cause cold-related health risks.

Blizzard conditions and snow

The weather is expected to become colder in portions of the United States due to the blast of arctic air from Siberia. Winter lovers could anticipate wintry to freezing weather this month.

On the other hand, AccuWeather's latest December 17, 2022, forecast showed that blizzard conditions with heavy snow could unfold in portions of the United, which could affect Christmas in the country.

AccuWeather's Storm Threat forecast (December 22, 2022, to December 24, 2022) explained that potential snow could emerge in portions of Oklahoma City and Syracuse. At the same time, colder weather is expected in Billings.

Residents suffering from the impact of heavy rain should monitor the weather before traveling, which roads could record foggy and blizzard conditions and dangerous travel.

AccuWeather's latest forecast added that the storm causing snow and rain could also unfold in the Midwest, Northeast and Southern Plains starting December 22, 2022 (Thursday) and until December 24, 2022. The forecast added that a major storm could unfold, affecting portions of the South Central States and Northeast.

Travel outlook

As the weather conditions could impact portions of the United States, the forecast added that travel conditions could be good to poor depending on the current situation.

According to the forecast, good travel conditions could happen in San Francisco, Denver, El Paso, Houston and Jacksonville. Fair travel conditions could also occur in Dallas, Charlotte, Boston and Miami.

On the other hand, the report added that poor weather conditions could unfold in Memphis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle and Billing, Washington and New York.

 Widespread could start to unload starting Sunday as many Americans began to decorate their homes. According to the Coldest Christmas in years, it showed that portions of Minneapolis, Chicago, Kansas City and Memphis could record the coldest weather.

Cold weather could also occur in Billings, Denver, Boston, New York, Washington, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Memphis, Dallas, Houston, Dallas, and Memphis.
