According to recent weather news, AccuWeather reported that the wave-appearing clouds showed in Sheridan, Wyoming, on December 6, 2022.

AccuWeather's meteorologist Kevin-Helmholtz explained that they had never seen the wave-looking clouds before. The meteorologist added that Wyoming residents could expect unique clouds in the area.

On the other hand, Rachel Gordon captured the now-viral image at her parent's home. She explained to BBC News that the stunning image was awe-inspiring, allowing other residents or people could see and enjoy it.

People immediately commented on her posts on social media, with over 1,700 interactions and 1,300 shares. Facebook users said the image was amazing what God could create, showing a rare cloud formation.

Meanwhile, the meteorologist explained that the rare wave cloud formations showed unstable atmospheric conditions, occurring as air varies in density considering different temperatures.

The report explained that the ocean waves managed to form due to high winds blowing in the sky, which clouds make a wave-looking formation.

Kevin-Helmholtz added that the wave-looking clouds could rarely appear. The meteorologist said that the clouds could be troublesome for pilots due to the visibility and air turbulence.

Mushroom-Looking Cloud

On the other hand, a previous report said that mushroom-appearing clouds emerged in the sky as Rick Geiss and his wife enjoyed the moment on the Shores of Alabama. The amazing cloud image dissipated after 10 minutes.

The report added that others said it was like a volcano cloud or Christmas cloud because of the cone-shaped look.

Many were happy seeing the cloud, saying mother nature creates an image.

Storms to Bring Heavy Rain and Blizzard Conditions Next Week

Meanwhile, the previous forecast said a storm could unload heavy rain and thunderstorms with potential blizzard conditions in portions of the Central United States. It is also expected that the storm could unleash snow.
