Taal Volcano Quiet, Lowered Alert Status

Taal Volcano remained quiet on Tuesday as it had presumably stopped ejecting sulfur dioxide and spewed only weak plumes. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), only four low-frequency tremors were detected in the last 24 hours.
