The first record of two supermassive black holes orbiting each other has finally been confirmed.
The two black holes are only about 1,500 light-years apart in the heart of Cygnus A.
The radio telescope project called Hydrogen Epoch of Reionization Array (HERA) has just received about $9.5 million of new funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).
