“Catastrophic” Drought in the Horn of Africa Kills Over a Million Livestock
The drought crisis in the Horn of Africa has wrought havoc as more than 1.5 million livestock and cut cereal production drastically. The region which relies mainly on livestock and agriculture is currently "on the brink of catastrophe" and that a "very small window" exists for taking urgent action.
