Roosters Rescued in NYC From Cockfighting Rings; Will Go To Vermont
While cockfighting roosters in the past were often euthanized after being rescued, because they seemed incurably aggressive, a Vermont-based sanctuary has combined psychological training with knowledge of roosters to treat PTSD and other factors. The method is now used in sanctuaries around the U.S.
