Paycom, a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, believes in its responsibility to its employees, communities, and the world. Chad Richison, CEO of Paycom, shared, "We believe in investing in our communities through both corporate and employee giving. Our employees showed their dedication and grit, too, and weren't afraid to roll up their sleeves for a good cause. They gave time to local organizations for hands-on volunteering year-round."

Paycom's dedication to sustainability is evident in its practical actions and initiatives. At their corporate headquarters and operations center in Oklahoma City and Grapevine, they demonstrate their commitment by powering operations with 100% wind energy sourced through the purchase of renewable energy credits. Moreover, Paycom has implemented energy-efficient and energy-reducing designs at their on-site data centers, further reducing their environmental footprint. The company has also provided its employees with free access to on-site electric vehicle chargers, encouraging eco-friendly transportation choices.

This Earth Day, Paycom took another step toward building a greener future by donating $33,000 to The Nature Conservancy through its employee giving program.

"As a leader in our industry, we want to follow best practices to protect our communities and our environment through eco-friendly initiatives," said Buck Adams, vice president of operations at Paycom. "This donation to The Nature Conservancy is a continuation of Paycom's commitment to reducing its environmental impact."

The Nature Conservancy is one of the most effective, wide-reaching global environmental nonprofits that strives to create a world where people and nature can thrive. They tackle climate change, conserve land and bodies of water in over 70 countries and territories, preserve habitats to slow down species loss and provide food and water and help make cities more sustainable.

In its efforts to address climate and biodiversity crises, the nonprofit focuses on developing breakthrough ideas, amplifying local leaders, and influencing policy.

According to its website, the organization has protected more than 125 million acres of land and operates more than 100 marine conservation projects.

Mike Fuhr, state director of Oklahoma for The Nature Conservancy, spoke about the nonprofit and the significance of Paycom's donation. "The Nature Conservancy is a science-based conservation organization focused on collaboration with landowners, tribes, agencies and corporations like Paycom. Their support will help us work with more partners to conserve important places across the amazing state we all call home."

In 2024, Paycom and its employees have continued their active philanthropy, supporting a number of causes. Starting in January, they gave $35,000 to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge communities. This funding provides crucial assistance to adults and caregivers confronting the challenges of cancer treatment away from their homes.

In February, Paycom's employee giving program provided $50,000 to the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission's flagship project, Greenwood Rising Black Wall St. History Center. Greenwood Rising is a nonprofit museum honoring the legacy of Black Wall Street before and after the Tulsa Massacre.

To commemorate Women's History Month in March, they generously gifted $50,000 to Oklahoma Women in Tech, helping expand educational opportunities for young women in Oklahoma through scholarships, retreats and initiatives fostering leadership and development in STEM careers across the state.

By empowering employees to support causes close to their hearts and partnering with organizations dedicated to improving society like The Nature Conservancy, Greenwood Rising and Oklahoma Women in Tech, Paycom exemplifies the positive effect businesses can have on society.
