The BBC reported that about 100 million people in North America are affected by the poor air quality in the region, adding that New York City, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. recorded it.

The report added that officials advised people to avoid unnecessary travel and exposure to unhealthy smoke.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the report explained that Canadian wildfires could likely bring unhealthy air quality conditions in parts of the Midwest, Mild-Atlantic, Ohio Valley and the Northeast.

There could be a chance of rainfall in parts of Central Montana, western South Dakota and Central Montana.

Rainy conditions and improved air quality

In the latest forecast, AccuWeather explained that a brewing storm could likely unleash beneficial rain in the Midwest and Northeast.

The forecast said the rainy conditions could help improve the poor air quality conditions in the Northeast and Midwest.

During the late week, AccuWeather's outlook showed that rain and thunderstorms could unfold in Seattle, Billings, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Jacksonville and Miami.

Potential showers could be likely in Boston, New York and Washington.

On the weekend, there could be a slight chance of weather change. The forecast said that possible rain and thunderstorms could be possible in Billings, Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, Memphis, Dallas, Houston, Jacksonville and Miami.

As some parts of the Northeast experienced dry conditions and troublesome air quality, the rainy conditions could provide relief next week.

Next week, the developing storm could help bring beneficial rain in Chicago, Nashville, New York and Montreal.

However, Americans could still notice the warmer conditions on Monday in Portland, Boston, New York City and Virginia Beach.

From Monday night to Wednesday, the forecast explained that rounds of heavy thunderstorms could unfold in Oklahoma City, Dallas and Little Rock.

A hotter outlook could become possible in San Antonio, Houston and New Orleans.

Although the weather is expected to bring relief in the Northeast and Midwest, it is best that homeowners and motorists should keep updated with the weather.

Older adults, people with medical conditions or at risk of poor air quality should stay home as possible.

The challenging air quality could likely cause unhealthy conditions. Closing your doors and windows would also be helpful to prevent them from entering your house.
