Since the beginning of March, Californians had to deal with severe weather and heavy snow. The Associated Press (AP) recently reported that many Californians became stranded inside their homes due to the heavy snow.

  • CNN reported that about 13 counties were under a state emergency due to the heavy snow, especially in San Bernardino County.

In the latest advisory, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported that storm-weary California experienced more snow and powerful winter storms.

This week, NWS explained the strong atmospheric river event in California and Nor'easter in the Northeast.

Californian homeowners should keep updated with the winter storms and atmospheric events that could bring hazardous situations.

According to NWS Weather Prediction Center, heavy precipitation is expected in California this Wednesday, especially in parts of the California coast, Sierra Nevada and Central Valley.

The weather forecast warned of widespread flooding due to snowmelt and heavy rain on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Californians near creeks or rivers should stay alert for the rapid rise of seawater.

Meanwhile, AccuWeather reported that at least two people were the casualties due to the severe weather in California.

 Based on AccuWeather's outlook, Californians could expect dangerous flooding, avalanche danger, road closures, roof collapse and downed trees due to the severe weather.

On Wednesday, Redding, San Jose and Los Angeles residents should stay updated with the forecast and prepared for weather impact.

  • The weather report noted that San Francisco Bay could experience heavy rain that could significantly impact travel conditions.

From Monday night to Tuesday night, the forecast said that rainy conditions could unfold in Renom San Jose and LA.

Weather forecasts monitored the combination of heavy rainfall and snowmelt that could result in debris flow and the rise of seawater.

On the other hand, Readygov explained the importance of winter storm preparedness for this week. Power outages could unfold due to freezing conditions and the blowing of snow.
