Italy’s Intense Drought Brings Old World War Shipwrecks to Emerge from the River

Alessio Bonin, an aspiring cinematographer, agreed to visit a wilderness area in Gualtieri, an Italian borough on the depositors of the Po River in Emilia-Romagna.

Italy's River Suffering from Intense Drought

The Po River comes from the Mountains in the northwestern Alps, feeding numerous Italian areas until joining the Adriatic. According to the Business Insider, the Zibello, a 160-foot raft that hauled timber during WWII and drowned in 1943, is normally concealed under the Po's waterways. The river's lakes were so minimal that passersby can see the devastation.

Water Crisis in Italy's River

The Po Valley is an economically significant location for Italy, allowing industrial centers such as Turin, Milan, and Brescia to grow, as well as a wide variation of industries, and is among the Europe's greatest productive agrarian regions.
