Getting a Solid Start at the University of Texas

After working his way through secondary school with high marks, Joey Feste set out to build upon his knowledge at a state university. He landed at the University of Texas where he immediately set out to learn all he could about the financial world.

As he took class after class, he worked toward earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, creating the solid foundation for his career in finance. He graduated in 1987 with a passion for money management, especially when it comes to smart investments.

Setting Out as an Investment Advisor Rep

Right after graduation, Joey Feste sought out a position with Rotan Mosley. With a look at his educational journey and passion for finance, they immediately brought him on as a registered investment advisor representative.

Through that experience, he learned how to effectively help people manage their investments and keep their finances healthy for the long term. Eventually, the company went on to become Paine Webber, but by then, Feste was already pursuing his dreams elsewhere.

Hitting the Big Leagues with Morgan Stanley

The next step in Joey Feste's journey involved getting a job at Morgan Stanley. As a leader in the financial world, this company would look incredible on the resume plus offer many new learning opportunities.

In making this smart move, he was able to land on their team as an investment advisor. In that role, he acted as an advisor for professional athletes, although the scope of his services was rather limited. He eventually found that role too restricting and decided to forge ahead on his own to bring even more services to his valued clients.

Launching His Own Empire: KM Capital Management

In 2004, Joey Feste set out to make his dreams of becoming a successful business owner come true by opening KM Capital Management. Instead of simply serving as an investment advisor, he rolled out the full suite of financial management services.

In the initial meeting with each client, he would dig deep into their goals, preferences, and dreams for the future to figure out how to best support their success. Then, he would create a complete financial plan customized to their needs.

Although he launched the company on his own, his success meant bringing on even more talented individuals to help out. He brought in a chief financial officer and several personal financial assistants to help run the company.

In addition, he proudly opened the doors for his son, Joey Feste Jr., to join the team as vice president. With his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree from the University of Texas, Joey Jr. naturally fit into the team and brought many excellent contributions to the table.

Along with the rest of the team, Joey Feste and his son, Joey Feste Jr., aim to help people best manage their assets and grow their wealth for the long term. They don't stop there either. Their drive to help people goes beyond KM Capital Management and the financial world as a whole.

While owning and operating KM Capital Management, Joey Feste reaches out to newcomers in the financial world in an attempt to help everyone gain control of their finances. He regularly puts out articles on Medium to bring smart investing advice to the masses.

In his piece titled, "The Right Time to Start Investing," for example, Feste encourages people to start socking away their money early and often. His guidance inspires even low-income earners to save what they can, and then use proven techniques to grow their wealth.

His other pieces explore investment topics even more, giving readers a look into the best practices to use in growing their wealth. Through that channel, he inspires people to overcome the barrier to success and enter the investment world with confidence.

Raising a Loving Family with Wife, Kelley Feste

Although Joey Feste runs a very full life, he never fails to keep family at the center of it all. His family began to come together when he met his wife, Kelley Feste, 30 years ago.

After a whirlwind romance, they were married and have served as each other's pillar of strength through the decades. While building their relationship from the ground up, they had three beautiful children, Joey Jr., Travis, and Annie. They support their kids in all their endeavors, including education, with Joey Jr. attending the same university as his dad.

Although the family has their own separate pursuits, they frequently come together to help their community. Joey Jr. serves as an integral part of his dad's business, for example, especially when it comes to managing day-to-day operations.
